Write about the situation of black People in America in the 1950's and the situation now

In the 1950's, Blacks were terribly discriminated, tortured and neglected. They were treated as slaves and sold... It was a terrible situation for them. The situation now is supposed to be much better with everybody united but recently with the terrible racism happening in Ferguson,Missouri the situation is really deteriorating. It's so sad to see this happen because people should be united, we are all people, who cares about someone's skin color. We hope that racism will disappear.
