S(x)=40-2*(x(5-x)/2 +x(8-x)/2)=40-(5x-x²+8x-x²)=40-13x+2x²=2x²-13x+40

2x²-13x+40=40/2
=>2x²-13x+20=0
=>2x²-8x-5x+20=0
=>2x(x-4)-5(x-4)=0
=>(x-4)(2x-5)=0
x=4 ou x=5/2
