Me: dad, I have enough savings in my account to last a few weeks. After that, I will use up the $3,000 that Cody's aunt gave us for the honeymoon. mom , road trip is the furthest thing from boring!

Mom: Why don't you try to learn useful practical skills instead of city hopping?

Me: Reading map is a practical skill as well.Finding my way in new states is a practical skill!

dad: No, I meant you should take up a new language or learn flower arranging or a new instrument.

Me: why can't l do that by befriending people I meet on the streets?

Dad: Talking to random strangers is dangerous!. Are you sure you can take care of yourself?

Me: I am almost 23!

Dad: But you are just barely out of college and have no idea of how cruel the world can be to youngh people without experience .

Me: That is why I am bringing Cody with me, He is 28 and will be my protector.
